James and Elizabeth Rowe, Passengers 3rd Class (Mariners and Ships in Australian Waters).

It seems that they left 3 children, Richard, Edward and Philip, in England. Philip emigrated much later.

The "magnificent steamship Hankow" ... She is one of the largest steamers that have ever entered Port Phillip Heads. Her length is 400ft., with 42 ft. of beam, and a depth of hold of 39ft.... Leaving Plymouth on the 24th September... The vessel has brought a full complement of passengers, making a total to this port and Sydney of 292... (Weekly Times Melbourne Sat 10 Nov 1877).

See the extensive notes I added to his wife Elizabeth Rowe (Matthews) regarding their offspring gleaned from censuses. While there are a large number of "matches" with MyHeritage trees, many of these contain incorrect information that comes from at least one other James Rowe with respect to DOB and offspring (I believe that Mary, Emma and Edwin are not children of James and Elizabeth Rowe, at least according to the UK Census records from their early married life.)
