James E. Sandusky Jr (JE),77, of East 5th Street, Mishawaka, passed away at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, at his residence.
James was born on May 30, 1927, in Hardin County, TN. He was the son of James Edward Sandusky and Annie Myrtle Sandusky. He moved to Mishawaka in 1959 from Florence, AL, and was a veteran of the United States Navy. James was a member of the Currant Road Church of Christ in Mishawaka.
Family and friends visited yesterday, Wednesday, April 6 from 4 to 8 p.m., at Hahn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, April 7, at 11:00 a.m. at Hahn Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
James is survived by three sisters, Annie Lucille Franklin, of Mishawaka, Shirley Jean Cagle, of Cherokee, AL, and Shelby Dean Pigg, of Tuscumbia, AL; 29 nieces and nephews; 73 great nieces and nephews; 15 great-great nieces and nephews; also five great-great-great nieces and nephews.
