James Sheldon, born c.1890, Cannock, Staffordshire, is listed as a Barman working in Birmingham in the 1911 Census. He was boarding with the family of Frederick Harry Crook, a licensed victualler, who might have also been James' employer.
They lived / worked at "Dog and Parteridge", Moseley St, Birmingham.
According to the website MidlandsPubs.co.uk, Frederick Harry Crook was the licensee for the "Dog and Partridge" from 1911 - 1926.
