James A. Stagg

for many years a prominent school teacher. He prepared himself for the profession of teaching at the Danville Normal College, and filled the position of principal of the Adams, Newpoint and St. Paul schools, in this county, and of the Rising Sun High School, in Ohio county, besides other positions. Prof. Stagg had in his educational course, studied surveying and civil engineering, and in latter years has turned his attention to that business.
