(1) James Limas Wiggins was born on December 15, 1899 in Tennessee and was known by the name SHACK. (2) He died on May 2, 1981 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee at the age of 82; (3) He was married to Willie Beatrice Campbell-Wiggins (1899 - XXXX) on May 2, 1920 in Tipton County Tennessee and it appears that they had 1 child, Thomas M. Wiggins (1927-XXXX) (4) In the 1920 US Census he was 21 years old head of household (renting) with his Sister Tissia (age 18) and Morhter Mollie Caraway (age 53) living with him in Tipton County, Tennessee; (5) In the 1930 US Census, he is married to Willie B. Wiggins (age 31) and son Thomas M. Wiggins (age 3 3/12) , Mother Mollie (age 69), Sister Vitoria (age 32) along with her two daughters Annie B. (age 16) & Lela B. (age 12) living in his home; (6) In the 1940 US Census it shows him married living in Shelby County, Tennesse on Kerrvill-Mudville Road; (7) He was a farmer renting and had a 5th grade education. (8) Also, in 1940 it showed living with him was his wife, Children Horace (age 13) and Lucile (age 9); (9) From a signature on his marriage license, it appears that Rev. J. H.Boddie married them or was presence at the wedding.

Lawrence Maclin added information below found in James Limas Wiggins obituary. 1. He was born in Fayette, County Tennessee 2. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church Brighton, Tennessee under the leadership of Rev. Joe Williams and later move to Memphis, Tennessee nd united with St. John Missionary Baptist Church and served as a deacon faithfully until his illness. 3. He and his wife Willie Beatrice had 7 children; 5 proceeded him in death. 4. At his death he leaves to mourn his passing a devoted wife, Mrs. Willie Beatrice Wiggins; one son, Mr. Horace Wiggins; one daughter, Mrs. Lucille McGregor (Ed); 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one daughter-in-law, one sister-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

- His funeral service was held at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 1492 Brookins Street, Memphis, TN. - Active Pallbearers: Horace Wiggins, Jr., Lee Andrew Wiggins, Richard E. Wiggins, Gregory Wiggins, Michel Williamson and Craig Little. NOTE: I ADDED THESE NAMES FOR POSSIBLE LEADS TO ADDITIONAL FAMILY HISTORY.
