"The Chillicothe Constitution", Missouri, Friday, April 11, 1890, page 3: DIED At his home in Chillicothe, Mo, March 29th 1890, of blood poisoning, Brother James A. Wimmer, aged 53 years. Brother Wimmer was born in Virginia and moved to Livingston Co. in 1866. He was a charter member of the A.H.T.A. No. 45 and as members of the order we wish to express our esteem for him. Therefore be it RESOLVED, By said order that in the death of Brother Wimmer we feel that we have lost an honorable and worthey brother, one who was ever ready and prompt to fulfill every duty and that the community has lost a good citizen and his family have lost a devoted husband and father. RESOLVED, That we deeply sympathize with the bereaved relatives in their affliction; and that a copy of these resolutions be furnished the family, and also sent to the Avalon Aurora, the Hale City Times and the Chillicothe papers for publication.
