Jannie (53), a beloved ex-pastor of the AFS congregation was shot in the driveway in front of his house shortly after he and his wife, Estella, went to buy bread on Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Joey Coetzee, the deceased's daughter, says her father was shot in the jaw and pulled from his car. He was also hit over the head with a stone before the killers fled without stealing his wallet, mobile phone or car.
He died on the scene.
