Brief overview:

Jan (65), a farmer from Marble Hall in Limpopo, was attacked on March 12th 2010, by five perpetrators, and stabbed repeatedly before being shot multiple times. His killers gained access into the house by breaking the back door, Limpopo police said. They overpowered Wheeler in the bedroom. The attackers took a few electrical household appliances and ran away. Wheeler was the 36th violent farm attack in Limpopo since November 2009.
