Brief overview:
Jan (82), was murdered by a sangoma (witch doctor), Moeketsi Hopolong Mokoena (34), from Lesotho, on 1st April 2009. He was caught cooking his body parts in boiling water when he was arrested.
Mokoena began his murderous rampage on the evening of 30 March 2009, by killing farmer Sebastian Venter (65), after arriving on the farm Biesiesvlei asking for food. Security guards went searching for Mokoena, which led them to Jan's farm the following day. Jan's mutilated body was found in the living room, and body parts in a pan in the kitchen.
