Mary, the mother of Jane Langton subsequently married Sir Andrew Judde of London[4], and then James Altham of Latton, Essex[1] although whilst married to Altham she continued to be known as Dame Mary Judde.
The Visitation of Essex[1] also recorded that Jane Langton married John Barne, son of George Barne, the Lord Mayor of London of 1552.
They had issue
- Mary, who married Francis Roberts of Willesden, Middlesex and
- Elizabeth, who married Edward Altham, the son of James Altham of Latton, Essex by his first marriage to Elizabeth Blank.
Jane was a beneficiary of the will of her mother, Dame Mary Judd of Latton, Essex, the will made on 20 Feb 1596/1597, published on 13 Jul 1601, and proved on 19 Feb 1601/1602[5]. Jane's Husband, John Barne, was a co-Executor of the will.
