Jane was the daughter of John Hughes and Hannah Boone Hughes.
On 12-9-1766 she married Samuel Boone (1736-1805) in Berks Co., PA.
They had 8 children:

  2. Hannah,
  3. John H.,
  4. William,
  5. George W.,
  6. Samuel H.,
  7. Susanna, and
  8. Hiram Cassel Boone.

Jane died around 1830 in Kentucky, probably in Shelby or Meade Co., KY. Some records show 1810 as the year of her death.

Called "Little Granny". Married her cousin.

Died either in Harrisson Co., IN or KY



Born either Dec. 22, 1745, OR Jan. 2, 1746.

Reprimanded for marrying out (of religion) and to kin. Jane Hughes's mother was Hannah Boone, grandfather was George Boone (born 1690).

George Boone (born 1690) was also the grandfather of Samuel Boon.
