In St John the Baptist Church, Penistone Baptism Registers 1893, Page 179, No 1427. 1911 Census - Jane Chappell aged 17, occupation General Servant in the household of Charles Henry Parker (51) occupation Ale & Portas Merchant and his wife and children living Shaw Cottage, Barnsley. Marriage registered - Jane Chappell to Wilfred Sherratt, December q 1922, Barnsley, volume 9c, page 509. Death registered - Jane Sherratt aged 69, December q 1966, Barnsley, volume 2b, page 8. Jane's death age is wrong, she would have been about 72 or 73 when she died.
