Wife of Colonel David George Cowand. They were married in Henderson, N.C. on April 4, 1866, according to the Daily Sentinel of April 13, 1866. Her grave is beside his, but is unmarked.

She was still living in 1880 as shown by the Census of that year for Norfolk, Virginia where her name appears along with her husband, David G. Cowand, and their two sons.
