It doesn't seem that Jane Elizabeth (Unknown) was a wife of Rev John Edwards (1804-1887)

Rev John Edwards's 1st wife Sarah Tucker died in 1871. He married Caroline Langford on 20 Apr 1875 in South Africa when he was a Widower (as stated on Marriage Register)

Even if he did marry Jane Elizabeth (Unknown) (1814-1894) in 1875 she would have still been alive in 1875 when Rev John Edwards married Caroline Langford as a Widower.

Jane Elizabeth is linked to him on My Heritage above and therefore on Familysearch but I believe it is an error and is a different John Edwards of which there are many.. This is the link to the marriage of a Jane Elizabeth in England to a John Edwards
