Daughter of Colonel John Bayard and the consort of the late Justice Andrew Kirkpatrick whom she married November 1, 1792 and died on February 17, 1851 in 79 yr of age
Daughter of Colonel John Bayard, who was descended from one of the oldest and most distinguished of the families of the Huguenots, who fled from France at the revocation of the edict of Nantz. She lost her Mother early in life.
Founder of the Dorcas Society for relief of the indigent sick and widows with small children.
