Jane Mackey

Jane Elphinstone was buried in Kirkton, Halladale in 1630. However, the Angus Mackay who inherited from his brother (as established by the charter dated 1687) was married to Jane Sinclair daughter of Patrick Sinclair of Ulbster (see the Brims family). This Angus and J\ane Mackay are buried in the Bighouse Aisle, part of the pre-1734 church in the Old Burial Ground iin Reay.
