About Jane Ann Perryman
https://youtu.be/xWONPvYXYgk?t=796
This video documents the exploration of her homestead in Georgia where her body was laid to rest. One of the participants claims to be one of her blood relatives, and he shared some interesting details about the family history. They located her grave marker in the overgrowth behind the old home site, carefully straightened it all up and dusted it off, and then documented the inscription thereon:
Sacred to the Memory of Mrs. Jane _____ [missing a small section of the stone]
Consort of James Perryman and daughter of Samuel and Winney Story. Born May 11, 1797, died November 3 [or 4th?], 1848. Married February 11, 1816. Joined the Baptist church February 19, 1829.
According to this oral history, Jane's father, Samuel Story, married twice and had 21 children. Winney would have been the second wife.
