Jane was the daughter of Julius Sanders and Margaret Bracken Sanders of Caswell Co., NC. Jane married William Ramey July 7, 1812 in Fayette Co., KY. They had at least 4 children then William died 1823 in Caldwell Co., KY. She lived near her Sanders family after her husband died. Jane is last listed in the 1880 Trigg Co., KY census. Apparently her tombstone cannot be located but Maupin's earlier cemetery book states this is where she was buried. Her husband was buried in Dry Fork Cemetery.
