She married Morris F. Engel at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Ramona, on April 7, 1957,
Her husband survives of Junction City; and two (2) sons: Lyle Engel (wife-Kim) and Larry Engel (wife-Dawn) both of Herington, a daughter Nancy Holt (husband-Curtis) of Oak Ridge, TN, and a brother Oren Haas (wife-Shirley) of Valley Center. She is also survived by nine (9) grandchildren (Jaython, Jonathan, & Aubrie Engel; Rocky, Randy, & Dakota Engel; Dayna Barkdoll; and Luke & Shelby Holt).
