About Jared Irwin
He also had a daughter, Mary Irwin, sister of his son George Irwin.
George and Mary Irwin came together to America. Mary Irwin married Joseph Darlington (he from England, b. abt.1689, d.1748); they lived in what is now West Brandywine Township, Chester Co., PA on land between Lafayette Rd. on the north and Cedar Knoll Rd. on the south, and between West Brandywine Creek on the west and Manor Rd. (Route 82) on the east. About 2 miles to the northwest is the land of Mary Irwin's brother, George Irwin.
He lived in what is now Honey Brook Township on the south side of the road where West Brandywine Creek crosses White Horse Pike (Route 322); the house was razed in 1992.
