Jared Hooker Trask, an old time resident of Jefferson township, Louisa county, died at the residence of his son in Pleasant Grove, Des Moines county, last Tuesday a week. The immediate cause of his death was a fall in his door yard on the 10 ult., which broke his leg, from the effect of which he could not recover.

No marker has been found.
