Jason Eugene Betts

Jason, 41, of charlotte, MI. an energetic, happy and simple young man, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 1, 2021, doing what he loved to do, fishing. Jason, was the son of Randy and Karen (Wehner) Betts.

People will remember Jason for his artistic abilities, he was a very talented tattoo artist, and very skilled at drawing. He also had a passion for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, and trail riding. If it is outdoors, Jason enjoyed it. Jason was also a good cook; he worked several jobs as a line cook over the years. Above all Jason loved and cherished time spent with his family

Jason is survived by his fiancée, Amy Richmond of Charlotte; father, Randy (Kathleen) Betts of South Boardman; siblings, John Clifford, Joshua (Janna) Clifford, Kimberly (Robbie) Jones; grandparents, Glen and Dorla Betts of Nashville; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Karen Betts.

A graveside service will be held at Deepdale Memorial Gardens, Lansing, Michigan on Friday, March 12, 2021 with masks required for attendees.

If desired, the family suggests memorial contributions to The YMCA of Barry County Camp Algonquin.
