About Jason Farrow Dene
Jason F. Dene had served in the military for 20 years at the time of his death in Iraq. He was proud of his military career and especially honored to have served with the elite 82nd Airborne for six of those years.
He was born in Canada, but spent his childhood growing up in California. He later moved to New England where he spent his teenage years before joining the Army.
He and his wife Judith had 3 children together.
An autopsy determined that the death of Army Sgt. 1st Class Jason Dene was an accident. His body contained elevated levels of an Army prescribed anti-depressant drug Citalopram, an SSRI. His father said was prescribed this medication to treat post-traumatic stress disorder.
