28 July 1592: Instrument of Seisin in favour of James Cunningham (son of late Alexander commendator of Kilwinning) (See GD39/1/121) in (the 8 merk land of Shaw) the 4 merk land of Bowieston and 5 merk land of Lambrochton, proceeding on a precept of clare constat by James Earl of Glencairn to the said James Cunningham as heir of Jean Cunningham his sister, daughter of Alexander commendator of Kilwinning.
