Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Jean J. Olson, age 72, of Sartell formerly of St. Cloud, who passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Reverend Alan Wielinski will officiate. Burial will take place in Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the church in St. Cloud.

Jean was born on February 1, 1940 in Clara City to Jerome and Josephine (Dondelinger) Primus. She married Eugene D. Olson on September 16, 1967 at St. Augustine's Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Jean worked at Fingerhut, Vision Ease and then worked as a house cleaner for the majority of her life. She lived in St. Cloud most of her life where she was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and the Waite Park American Legion Post #428 Auxiliary.

Jean enjoyed baking, bingo, cards, the church choir, and visiting with friends. She loved the time spent with her family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jean is survived by her sons, Rollie (June) Olson of Sartell, Steve Olson, Michael (Sue) Olson, and Dennis (Cyndy) Olson all of St. Cloud; 16 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Eugene on September 9, 1995.

A Special Thank You to the Staff at both the Country Manor and the St. Cloud Hospital ICU for the care given to Jean.
