Jedidah Coffin formerly Hussey was born 27 Jul 1708 in Nantucket, Nantucket, Massachusetts to Bachelor Hussey and Abigail (Hall) Hussey. She is the sister of Moses Hussey, Hepsabeth Hussey, Christopher Hussey, Mary (Hussey) Swain, John Hussey, Stephen Hussey, Huldah (Hussey) Barney, Ebenezer Hussey, Paul Hussey and Silvanus Hussey.

Jediah married Benjamin Coffin on 5 Feb 1726 (to 5 Aug 1759) in Nantucket, MA. Her children are Reuben Coffin, Nathaniel Coffin, William Coffin, Benjamin Coffin, Micajah Coffin, Abigail Coffin, Joseph Coffin, Anna Coffin, Seth Coffin, Paul Coffin, Elihu Coffin, Isaiah Coffin, Abraham Coffin and Abner Coffin Jedidah died on 5 Aug 1759 in Nantucket, Nantucket, Massachusetts. Biography

Bachelor Hussey was bom on February I8. 1685. On October I I, I704, he married Abigail Halle. Their children were:

MARY HUSSEY born Febnrary 9. 1706/07 and died February 2, I758. She married Peleg Swain on May 7. I730. Peleg was a son of Benjamin Swain and Mary Taylor. Children were Martha, Benjamin, Peleg, Bachelor, Micajah and Paul Swain.

JEDIDAH HUSSEY was born September 27. 1708 and died August 6, 1759. [1] She married Benjamin Coffin on April 5, I726. Benjamin was a son of Nathaniel Coffin and Damaris Gayer. Children were: Reuben, Nathaniel, William, Benjamin, Mlcajah, Abigail, Joseph, Anna, Seth, Paul, Elihu, Isaiah, Abraham and Abner Collin. Benjamin later remarried to Deborah Macy in 1762 and they had Isaac, Thomas and Deborah Coffin.

JOHN HUSSEY was bom October 8, l7l0 and died in 1749. On February 4, 1733/34 he married Jedediah Coffin, daughter of Joseph Coffin and Bethiah Macy. Their children

were: Joseph, Robert, Stephen, Benjamin, Bethiah, Abigail, Ruth and Ebenezer Hussey. STEPHEN HUSSEY was born October 14. 1713 and lefl Nantucket in I737.

HULDAH HUSSEY was born Febmary 8. 1715/16 and died April 3. 1798. On January 2, I734/35 she married Simeon Bunker. son of Jonathan Bunker and Elizabeth Coffin. Children were: Bachelor and Simeon Bunker.

EBENEZER HUSSEY was born February 7, 1718/I9.

PAUL HUSSEY was born June 12, 1720.

SILVANUS HUSSEY was born May ll. I722.
