Jerry (52), of the farm Buffelshoek on the Kommiessiedrift road, a professional big-game hunter, was attacked during the night inside his rented home. His body was found in the bathroom, the hands tied with electrical cord, and feet with a cloth. There were multiple knife stab wounds on the body and he had been shot in the stomach and head. His pick-up truck was stolen, but recovered later by the police where it had been abandoned at Marikana.
