Jeremiah Mead (Feb. 13, 1727 - Feb. 5, 1815), son of Caleb, grandson of Ebenezer, great grandson of John, second great grandson of William, said to be born in Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut Colony, and died in Carmel, Putnam County, New York, at age 88.
Asserted to have married Amy Lockwood (Mar. 11, 1733 - Aug. 29, 1814), daughter of Caleb Lockwood.
Said to have chosen Caleb Mead as his guardian when his father died in 1733. (Probate records Stamford).
