Biography

From FAG: Jerusha Cushman Cobb is a descendant of Mayflower passengers Isaac Allerton, John Howland, John Tilley, and John Billington.

In 1783, she was granted the administration of her husband's estate.[1]

Plymouth Colony and Massachusetts

Mercy Washburn had children by Robert Cushman (Jr.),[2] including:
Jerusha Cushman, born on 15 Jan. 1727/8 in Kingston,[3][4] married Ebenezer Cobb (3rd), son of Ebenezer and Ruth (Tinkham) Cobb (Jr.),[5] on 30 Oct. 1747 in Kingston.[6] He was born on 4 Mar. 1723/4 in Plymouth,[7] a grandson of Ebenezer and Mercy (Holmes) Cobb.[8] She died in ca. 1768, and he remarried to Martha (Harlow) Cole, daughter of John and Mary (Rider) Harlow (Jr.), and widow of Isaac Cole,[9] on 15 Dec. 1771 in Plymouth.[10] He died intestate on 10 Nov. 1782 in Kingston, aged 58 years, of “consumption.”[11]
