Jesse Fields

Jesse Fields was the son of Henry H. 'Big Henry' Fields and Louisa Combs of Brownsfork. Jesse had two children with Elizabeth Hurt, Robert Henry Fields and Margaret Fields. I found no marriage record for them. He was said to have married Sallie Ann Couch, daughter of Eli Couch and Polly Combs. According to census records, they had the following children: Ira, Mollie, Pole, Mayfield, Mary and Zolia Fields. I found no marriage record for Jesse and Sallie either. Jesse was murdered on 4-19-1900 on Strong Branch in Breathitt Co. He was shot by Mose Feltner.
