Jane Tunstall was born circa 1431 at of Tunstall Castle, Thurland, Lancashire, England.3

She married Sir Roger Warde, son of Sir Roger Warde and Jane Markenfield, circa 1450;

Jane Tunstall married Sir William Stapleton, son of Sir John Stapleton and Margaret Norton, before 1472; They had no issue.2,3,4,5,6,7

Jane Tunstall left a will on 24 February 1508; Requested burial beside her 2nd husband at Wighill, Yorkshire.2,3,4,5,6,7 Her estate was probated on 23 March 1508
