About Joanna Simons
GEDCOM Note
Johanna Rowe, nee Symons(Simons), was thought to be descended from Huguenots, who left France after the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes. Symons and Stephens were certainly common names in Cornwall but many Huguenots settled in Cornwall after they fled France, so it is very probable.
