Joe Ray Stacy, 72, of Hazard, died Sunday, March 5, 2006 at the V.A. Center in Lexington. He was the son of the late Jasper and Orpha Walker Stacy. He is survived by 2 sons, Randy Stacy of Yeaddis; David Loren Stacy of Hazard; 4 sisters, June Caudill of Paris; Mary Strong and Wanda Barger, both of Hazard; Gertrude Elam of Middletown, OH; host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Funeral was conducted Thursday, March 9, 2006 at the Engle-Walker Funeral Home with Michael Barnett officiating, burial in the Riverside Cemetery in Hazard.
