About Johan Mesenbring
Neustadt Am Rübenberge Records
Johan is mentioned in a book about records from the area around Neustadt Am Rübenberge in the 16th - 18th centuries.
On page 152, he is listed as a "köter" (cottager) in Nortdrever (Norddrebber), with the note "nehret sich Taglohns" (earns daily wages).
On page 206, he is listed again as a köter in Nortdrever in the years 1645 and 1649.

Gilten Church Record Book
Johan is mentioned in the Gilten church book, but he actually lived in Norddrebber, a village close to Gilten that did not have its own church.
The earliest record of Johan Mesenbring in the Gilten church book is in his daughter Dorothea's baptism record in 1634. Since the church book started in 1632, it's likely that he married before 1632. His parents are unknown, but there are several other Mesebring / Mesenbrings in Gilten around the same time period, so it's likely that they were siblings or close relatives of his.
There is a record of a Wichmann Mesenbringk who lived in Norddrebber in the 1585 Calenberg Muster Roll, so it is likely that Johan is a descendant of Wichmann.
