John Heflin-V was in Revolutionary War was son of a John Heflin-IV?? possibly married Mary B. Davis on board a ship his grandfather, Capt William Fraser Heflin steered with families aboard moving from VA to NC. There is no record of this marriage in Granville Co. James Heflin, John's brother, married Mary's younger sister, Elizabeth and that is recorded.
