From NEHGR 25:23 "Will of John Bird, made Nov. 11, 1724. Proved Aug. 28, 1732. Mentions daughter Damaris Hawes, dec and her children; to grandson William Wright, lands from the right of my father-in-law Richard Williams, if he the sd William arrive to the age of 21 years; grandson John Bird; special bequests are made--the residue to be divided into ten parts to each heir a Portion viz.: son John Bird, dau. Abial Bird; son Samuel Bird, Damaris Haws, Mehitable Blake, Hannah Dean, Elizabeth Beighton, Catharine Dean, Deighton Morneck, alias Mirick, Siilence Clapp and Jane Wilbore. Inventory of the estate, 470.10 pounds.
