In Silkstone Parish Church Registers 1841 Page 224 No 1789. John was baptised aged 5 months, his sister Mary was baptised at the same time aged 2 years old. Obituary - Chappell, aged 22, John, the third son of John Chappell, nail manufacturer, Hoylandswaine. In Sheffield Independent, 11th July 1863. Burial - 8th July 1863 John Chappell aged 22 of Hoylandswaine. In Silkstone Parish Church Registers 1863 Page 127 No 1010.
