John Day was born about 1639-1644 in Ipswich, Massachusetts. [1] [2] [3] [4] He was the son of Robert Day and Hannah Pengry. [5] He passed away 26 September 1689 in Ipswich. [1] [2] An inventory of his estate was dated 11 October 1692, which included a house, barn and homestead, located in Scott's Lane. The total value was £100. His total estate was £607, 12, 3. [6]

John was married to Sarah Pengry 20 April 1664 in Ipswich, Massachusetts. [7] [1] [2] [8] [4] [9] They had the following children:
