J.T Dover of York Dies at 72
John Thomas Dover, 72, York,-- retired farmer and texile worker, died last night at Divine Saviour Hospital after a year of declining health. Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Friday at the York Church of God, with the Rev. B.S.Myers in charge. Burial will be in Unity Baptist Church Cemetery in Hickory Grove.Survivors include his wife, Mrs Cora Osment Dover; three daughters, Mrs Sally Moss, Mrs. Pansy Troxler and Mrs Eula Ivey, all of York; two sons, Auther Dover of Gaffney, and Charles Dover of York; three brothers,Jim Dover of Smyrna, Jack Dover of York, and Monroe Dover of Clover; three sisters, Mrs. Ed Childers and Addie Parker of Hickory Grove and Mrs B.G Moss of Rock Hill; 23 grand children and 20 great grand children.The body will be taken to the home from York Funeral Home late today.
