The 1881 Canada Census indicates that the Charity Ann Hanson (56yo widow of Dominicus M. Hanson [d. 6/28/1874] and daughter of Stephen Estey and Elizabeth Pond) and her 17yo son Silas G. Hanson resided in St. Mary's Parish (Marysville), Fredericton, York County, New Brunswick with the John H. Downing family. Coincidentally, the John H. Downing family also lived immediately next door to the Charles W. Pond family, close relatives of Sarah O. Downing (Pond) who is the wife of John's brother Maurice. John H. Downing family members resided at 24 Morrison Street for many years.
