John Fowler

BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:

John Fowler, son of Robert Fowler senior, was born approx. 1753. On May 19th., 1778, in Cricket St. Thomas, Somerset, John married Jane Glyde, of Winsham, Somerset, in the presence of Mary Phelps, Mary Fowler, Thos. Marsh and Robert Fowler. The following Fowler branch came from cousin Caroline Fowler - it needs to be verified some time. It would appear that John and Jane lived, at some time, in Nash, Marshwood, Dorset, and in Winsham, Somerset. John died before 1805, when his father’s will mentioned, the seven children of his late son, John. John and Jane had issue.
