Born in Indiana, but grew up in Iowa and Michigan. Was the oldest of five kids, until my mother remarried a man with two kids and they had two more, then I was the oldest of nine kids.

Grew up in the 70's, so I was influenced by the "hippie" generation.

Married Sue in the late 70's and we have three sons. Sue has a daughter she adopted out before we met and the highlight of our life is when we found her and her family. Now that our children have moved out we love our cats like children...spoiling them every moment.

Became a Christian in 1976 and taught adult bible study classes for eleven years.

Spent most of my career working in nursing homes and as the Executive Director of retirement communities, but now I am semi-retired working as a System Administrator in the purchasing department of a hospital. I work full time and probably will as long as I can.

We love being grandparents and living in the New Orleans area with great weather, music, culture and plantations.
