John Hamilton (1940 - 1998)
Brief overview:
John (58), and his wife, Ronnie (59), were attacked on 30th April 1998, at their smallholding about 3 km outside Port St Johns, and brutalised for more than two hours in a frenzied attack by two armed men with knives and pangas.
A Nelspruit man visiting the area, Mr Mike Kromhout, said: “I’ve never seen anything like it. The house looked as though it had been sprayed in blood. It was like a scene from a horror movie.”
