In 1807 there is a John Hause in the Norriton Township Pennsylvania, U.S., Septennial Census,
Perhaps (Jr.) is the tenant farmer for Jesse Bean who grandson seems to identify in a letter (cited)

The quote I refer to on Jesse Weber Bean's letter to his brother Edwin is:
" Have you any recollection of old John Han(?) and Fran that lived with us for many years he was a member of the Troop before Father and told me many incidents connected with the Troop in the early part of the Century."
important note: The identification of "John Han" with John Hause is tenuous . The man John may be this John Hause or someone else entirely. {MMvB , March 2024} If "old John" was truly old and actually in the John Hause family, he would most likely be John Hause, Jr, who died in 1835.
