John Huhn, Jr. married Catherine Weedman May 2, 1795 in Fayette County, PA. They had four children who were all born in Fayette County, PA., three of whom lived to adulthood. They were Hannah (b. Jan 29, 1796), Henry (b. Nov. 11, 1797), Sara (b. Feb. 11, 1799) , and John III (born July 21, 1801). After John Huhn, Jr. died in 1803, Catherine Weedman Huhn married 2nd: Jacob Kefover around 1805-06. Her family moved to Ohio in the early 1800's, so she and her husband took two of the youngest Huhn children and moved to Ohio where their two sons, Levi and James, were born and raised in Perry County, Ohio. Hannah and Henry Huhn stayed in Fayette County, Pa. There is no known explanation why Catherine didn't take Hannah and Henry to Ohio with her new husband and their younger brother and sister. Upon Catherine's death, Sara huhn and James Kefover were benefactors of her will, which was contested by descendants of Hannah Huhn Hull (who died before her mother) and Henry Huhn.
