About John Walker Inman
Aged 34 yrs.Died of Epileptic Seizure/Apoplexy.
Graduate of Princeton.Cotton Merchant.He was associated with the firm of Inman & Co. in Atlanta and Houston shortly after graduation.
Mr. Inman moved to Augusta in 1896 and became the head of the Inman & Co. cotton exporting branch in this city.He helped to make this firm the largest exporting firm in the south. It had branches in Bremen, Barcelona, Havre, Liverpool, and smaller houses in Russia and France.
He is survived by his wife,the former Miss Frankie Clark of Augusta and three children:Cordelia, Walter P., and Ruth Inman. His father, Walter P. Inman, is a resident of Atlanta.
