Isaacs, John Alfred (1863–1944)
The death occurred in Melbourne yesterday of Mr. John Alfred Isaacs, 83, brother of Sir Isaac Isaacs. Mr. Isaacs practised as a solicitor for many years, until failing health forced him to retire. He was M.L.A. for Ovens from 1894 to 1902. He is survived by a widow.

Mr. John Isaacs Married
Attended by his brother, Sir Isaac Isaacs, former Governor-General of Aus- tralia. Mr John Isaacs was married quietly yesterday to Miss Edna Davis, at his home In Hawthorn, by Rabbi J. Danglow. The reception-room In which the cere- mony took place was beautifully adorned with flowers from Sir Isaac Isaacs's gar- den at Macedon.
The bride was given away by Dr. Maloney, M.H.R. She wore a lovely gown of Ice-blue and silver brocaded lame, over which fell the full folds of a veil in the same delicate silvery blue colour. The veil fell from a silver diadem set with pearls, and she carried a bouquet of orchids.
After the ceremony intimate friends vere entertained at luncheon at Menzies Hotel.
