The son of Martin "Conrad" Jacobsmeyer and Anna "Katherine" Siemer, John married Anna Rose on 20 Nov 1900 in Calhoun County, Illinois. He was a farmer, and they were the parents of 3 children.

At the time of his death, John was 77 years, 9 months and 9 days old. He was buried next to his wife, Anna, on 30 Jan 1950. She passed away in 1925.

BRUSSELS

Funeral rites for John Jacobsmeyer, 76, who died Thursday at 10 p.m. at his home in Brussels, will be conducted Monday at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's Church by the Rev. Joseph Enright. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. The body is at Imming funeral home, Brussels, where friends may call.

Jacobsmeyer, a life-long resident of Brussels area, is survived by a daughter, Mary, and two sons, Tony, Brussels, and Edward, Golden Eagle.
