John was a revolutionary War veteran, the stone inscription reads: Sacred to the memory of
M' John Johnson Jr. who departed this life
July the 26th 1775 in the 63' year of the age.
His grave is marked as a veteran and is decorated with a U.S. flag every Memeorial and Veterans Day.He is buried in this very historic cemetery.
