One account of this family gives the names of the wives of John Kenyon(llll) as Freelove Allen, Lydia Eanos, and Wealthan Reynolds. As this account conflicts with the town clerk records and with that given by Mrs. Hannah (Kenyon) Lillibridge, granddaughter of John Kenyon(1111), the author is inclined to believe that the above account of the family is the most accurate available. Mrs. Lillibridge gave her account in person to Mrs. JLK. While an orphan he chose George Tibbets of North Kingstown as his guardian, 6 July 1747. On the gravestone of John Kenyon(1111) - the given names of two of his wives are interchanged. He lived and died in Exeter, Rhode Island. In the census of 1774, he was living in Exeter with his cousin, Giles Kenyon(113). They were both listed as joint heads of one family group. This was only instance of this kind noted in that census. There was no means of distinguishing which children belonged to either party. In the census of 1790, he was living in Exeter with family of 1 male over 16, five males under 16 and 2 females.
